Hotel Moka at Las Terrazas is located just forty-nine miles west of Havana in the Sierra del Rosario Biosphere Reserve, Hotel Moka is one of the most unique hotels of Cuba. Set amid the forested hills of Las Terrazas, it's difficult to say where the 4-star hotel stops and the forest starts. In short, the Moka is romantic, intimate, and fully deserving of your time in Cuba. Moka's interior design and architecture is based on a contemporary interpretation of Spanish colonial architecture, and features a splendid multi-tiered atrium lobby built around a large lime tree (the branches magically disappear through the skylight). The two-story units have magnificent red-barked trees growing through the balconies and ceiling. Las Terrazas is located in an area of around 5,000 hectares, in which a project of sustainable rural economy is being developed, based on the rational use of its natural resources for tourism.
